The Interiors Association is Irelandʼs leading professional organisation of accredited Interior Designers, Interior Design Architects and Design Studio memberships.

Overall, the Interiors Association strives to raise the profile of Irish Designers in Ireland and abroad.

We have established key relationships with many of Ireland’s key interior events e.g. Ideal Home Show, the House Event and have sponsored the Fit-Out Conference / Awards and as a result we are helping to raise the profile of all our professional members.

 

MEMBER BENEFITS

FULL MEMBER

Joining the IA as an Interior Designer, Interior Design Architect or Design Studio ensures the following:

  • Publicity opportunities via participation and promotion at the various interiors related events throughout the year

  • Access to our CPD programme to enhance and maintain your industry knowledge

 

 

ASSOCIATE MEMBER

Joining the IA as an Associate member ensures the following :

  •  A Full Listing on the IA website with your company information, bio, portfolio and link to your website and social media pages

  • Access to our CPD programme to enhance and maintain your industry knowledge

STUDENT / GRADUATE MEMBER

Joining the IA as a Student/Graduate member includes:

  • A Listing on the IA website with your contact details (please note this does not include a company bio but may include images of your student work portfolio)

INDUSTRY PARTNER

Some of the benefits to joining the IA as an Industry Partner include the following :

  • An opportunity to promote your goods/services directly with the interior designers who may be specifying their products.

EDUCATOR

Applications are welcomed from lecturers on level 7 or 8 design courses. This membership offer is open to college lecturers FREE of charge,  provided you are not also a practicing designer.  Educators details will not appear on the IA website as a member listing, but they are welcome to participate in IA events, contribute to (and avail of) our CPD courses and points and offer support to student and graduate members. 

EDUCATIONAL BODY

Joining the IA as an Educational Body is of benefit in the following ways:

  • The College is listed on the IA website with a link to same. This enables promotion of any Interior Design courses to potential students or to those interested in pursuing further courses in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.

  • Your students may attend Interiors Association CPDs other IA events at the reduced (or complimentary) member rate, where applicable.

  • Your lecturers may attend aforementioned events under the same terms.

  • Educational Body Members are invited to hold lectures or CPD events in their classrooms in conjunction with the Interiors Association.

  • CPD Credits are awarded to those who attend CPD events and Certificates of attendance are issued upon request.

  • Students may benefit from the opportunity to mentor or intern under the IA professional members where internships are available.

  • Students of Educational Body Members are offered guidance on specialized areas within the interior design industry. They are also offered one-on-one guidance on how to kick start their career or choose their next course.

  • A dedicated Student Co-Ordinator is directly contactable by students via students@theinteriorsassociation.ie

  • Students of Member Educational Bodies can upload their contact details to the Interiors Association website. Selected portfolio images will be shared on our website with a direct link to the Educational body website and credit to the student
