The founding members of the IA
Establishment of the Interiors Association
In 2005, Elaine Butler believed there was a place for an Irish professional trade association where interior architects, interior designers and individuals within the design community could come together as a collective. Elaine invited professionals from the Irish interiors industry to a meeting and the Interiors Association (IA) was formed.
The eight founding members were Orla Mahon, Elaine Butler, Sarah Cruise, Mary Ryder, Janine Gunning, Michelle Hetherington, Hilary Duffy and Pilar Landaluce.
The below photos were taken at the Interiors Association Launch night at the Ely Wine Bar, Monkstown, Co Dublin in June 2006.
