An Introduction to Colour Psychology
April 21 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Colour, the non-verbal language is of huge importance to not only every element of design but of life in general. Adele’s workshop ‘an introduction into colour psychology’ will look at all topics from the basics of the colour wheel to the breakdown of personality types which will help you both on a personal level and enable you to understand more clearly your clients vision for each individual project.
Not everyone sees colour the same and this workshop will give you the confidence to understand why you make choices when choosing colours for living, wether it be for personal care-hair & make up etc, fashion and interiors.
This workshop is ideal for anyone who has an interest in any area of design and is looking to find out more about the power of colour.
Throughout the workshop you will work on vision boards using fabric, paint & metal swatches that will clearly breakdown each personality type. These tools will come in handy for you when choosing clothes, make up and interiors. And for those working in the industry these vision boards can be used at the initial consultation stage with clients to define their personality type before you even start each project. This will ultimately save you time and give you the confidence to choose amazing personalised colour schemes and help you choose colours you may never have picked or even looked at before.
Adele’s started off in graphics over 20 years ago which lead her into marketing before she set up her own business in both graphics & colour consultancy.
