Colour, the non-verbal language is the vital element that is important in every area of interiors. Every piece of a perfect scheme is chosen by colour to work in harmony with every other piece.
Adele’s workshop ‘colour psychology for interior design’ will look at all topics from the basics of the colour wheel to the breakdown of personality types for not only clients, but style and buildings. This will help you not only personal level but will enable you to understand more clearly your clients vision for each individual project.
Adele will work on identifying & understanding your direct clients personality type and for commercial design to understand the importance to clearly know the personality types of the customer they are designing/branding for.
Not everyone sees colour the same and this workshop will give you the confidence to understand why certain schemes will work and help you create harmonious schemes for each client & environment
Adele focuses heavily on the importance of light with colour as w’out it colour wouldn’t exist.
Throughout the day you will work on colourful vision boards using fabric, paint & metal swatches that will clearly breakdown each personality type. These tools will come in handy for initial consultations with clients to define their personality type before you even start each project. This will ultimately save you time and give you the confidence to choose amazing personalised colour schemes and help you choose colours you may never have picked or even looked at before.
This workshop is ideal for anyone studying or working in the interiors industry and who has an interest in finding out more about the power of colour for each personality type.
Adele’s started off in graphics over 20 years ago which lead her into marketing before she set up her own business in both graphics & colour consultancy. She continued her studies in interior design but focused heavily on colour which lead her to study colour psychology. She has worked on numerous colour projects with Colourtrend paints for over 14 years and runs a digital printers with her husband-focusing on high impact branding.
